C’mon in! What brings you here?

Taxes, please

We’ve got you. Just fill out the Contact Us form to get started.

Bookkeeping, please

  • We’re so excited you’re here! Whether you know nothing about financials or have very specific ideas on dashboard reports & strategic goals, we’ll help you deliver high quality information that helps you and your board make good decisions.

  • Keeping your books current and up to compliance is no easy task. We’ve been doing this for a minute and have a few hundred rebuilds under our belts. We can clean it up or assist you in doing it yourself.

  • Audit is a scary word that has a surprising number of meanings. Let’s figure out exactly what flavor of audit you’re looking at, what the risks and costs might be so you can budget time & expenses, and make a plan that reduces your stress as much as possible.

  • We do that! Let’s chat.

  • No problem. Check out our Services Page or hit us up through the Contact Us tool and we’ll figure it out together.

  • Yeah, we get that. It’s the main reason we set ourselves up as a nonprofit firm. We can collaborate on a capacity-building grant if you’ve got some specific goals, or we have an excellent library of templates and resources that may help for a lot less. Please don’t let the potential price tag scare you off.

  • We’re picky about who we work with. Our client acceptance policy focuses our work on organizations that directly assist the most vulnerable of us. However, like most professional service firms, we limit our work to organizations who can work with our project management style, too.

    1. Are you an organization who directly serves vulnerable people and/or the environment? If your organization is mostly cis, white, straight people serving others of the same, that’s still important work! We are happy to refer you to other firms. We do not accept religious organizations or their spin-offs.

    2. Do you treat people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people, veterans, immigrants, and other highly targeted people with respect and dignity in all your business practices? Do you buy from businesses that we own? Do you train us to leadership in your organization? You don’t need to prove anything to us, but we will vet you before accepting the engagement.

    3. Can you determine exactly what you need, what your timeline for delivery is, and your budget for the project? Please don’t ask for an engagement letter or our attendance at a board meeting until you’re ready to negotiate explicit terms – just like any other contract.

    4. Can you deliver the materials we discuss on time? Do you answer our questions promptly (within 1-2 days)? We make a point of scheduling your work when you’re available to participate and we’re free to focus our attention fully on you. Accounting is a group project that tells a story that we all need to agree upon, and we can’t do that without full participation. [Yeah, I know and am deeply embarrassed.]

You seem cool. Can I get involved?

Because of the level of confidentiality for personal and financial information, we have some strict boundaries, but yes, let’s talk.

Want some money?

Do we ever! It’s misinformation that individual donors supply more than half of non-profit funding. According to this report, it’s likely as little as 16%. When individuals donate, it not only allows us to fund boring but essential expenses like insurance and salaries, but you also save us the very expensive costs of long applications, funding meetings, and highly tailored reports that grantors require. Your donation directly helps us exponentially to the value of the dollars given. Thank you so much!
